The XWEB 300 is a module for alarm, control and management based

on internal Web pages that works in a Linux enviroment.

It allows the connectivity to a network of ModBUS devices through PC or PDA

equipped with a standard Browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer® or Netscape®

or...). No special software is required for the access to XWEB 300.

It is possible to see all the variables of a controller and to manage of all parameters

and alarms.

Thanks to Java Applet it is possible to generate powerful visual graphs.

L' XWEB 300 è un modulo di acquisizione dati e di monitoraggio allarmi

basato su pagine Web interne e operante in ambiente Linux.

Permette la connettività alla rete di dispositivi collegati tramite PC o PDA muniti

di Browser standard (Microsoft Internet Explorer® o Netscape® o...). Non è

richiesto l’utilizzo di programmi specifici per accedere all’XWEB 300.

È possibile visualizzare tutte le grandezze di un dispositivo e gestirne i parametri

e gli allarmi.

Tramite Applet Java si ottiene una potente e completa visualizzazione dei grafici.

Quando è un dispositivo palmare a collegarsi con l'XWEB 300, questo automaticamente lo

riconosce e mette a disposizioni alcune pagine dedicate ad esso.

Con queste è possibile visualizzare tutti i valori di un dispositivo ed anche spedire comandi

allo stesso.

When the connection is made by means of a Palmtop computer (PDA), XWEB 300 automatically

recognises it and makes several dedicated pages available.

On them is possible to display all the values of a device and send it commands.

By means of the local connection, the XWEB 300 can be easily updated and

configured before installed it into the unit.

During the functioning the User is allowed to be interfaced in real time and

to download all the data coming from the devices connected in order to

analyse the database with the powerful graph functions of the XWEB itself.

The User can check alarm events or verify the efficiency of the machinery

after any kind of maintenance operations.

La connessione remota permette di aggiornare e configurare a distanza in

modo facile e veloce l'XWEB 300, tramite normale connessione modem.

In caso di malfunzionamento, è possibile collegarsi in tempo reale con l'unità

installata per verificare l’entità del problema, facilitando così un eventuale

intervento. Nei casi più semplici quali reset di un allarme o cambio di un

set di lavoro, si possono evitare “costose” spese di service.

Inoltre è semplice e immediato controllare il corretto funzionamento di unità

prototipo o soggette a condizioni critiche di lavoro; non sarà più necessario

la presenza, sul campo, di personale specializzato.

By means of the remote connection the XWEB 300 program can be easily

updated and configured during a remote connection through modem.

When there is a problem with the machinery the remote connection shows,

in real time, the status of the malfunction. This helps the User take the

right decision and to obtain an easy and rapid resolution of the problem

(for example: alarm reset or change the setpoint value).

It is possible to check the functioning of prototype or overcharged units

because of less than ideal operating conditions. In this way we can avoid

the engagement of qualified and expensive personnel.

REMOTE CONNECTION / CONNESSIONE REMOTA

Checks 24 hours a day the correct operation of the machinery (up to 12 or 36 instruments).

Notice to the assistance centre through FAX, SMS or E-MAIL in case of malfunction

or alarm of the unit.

Allows OEM’s via direct control to decide to engage a local service call out only if

necessary.

Records all data relavant to the function of the controlled unit. In this way the OEM has

important information for new models of the improvement of the unit itself.

Avvisa l'assistenza tramite FAX, SMS o E-MAIL di un eventuale malfunzionamento o

situazione di allarme dell'unità.

Il costruttore potrà sfruttare il proprio service interno rivolgendosi a personale esterno

solo in caso di reale necessità.

Fornisce dati e indicazioni sul funzionamento nel tempo delle unità controllate. Il

costruttore ha così un prezioso storico da utilizzare per apportare eventuali modifiche

o miglioramenti al prodotto.

La connessione locale permette di aggiornare e configurare in maniera facile

e veloce l'XWEB 300, prima dell'installazione nell'unità da controllare.

E’ inoltre possibile interfacciarsi in tempo reale con l'impianto in oggetto

e scaricare i dati registrati dai dispositivi collegati. Questi possono essere

analizzati attraverso grafici sia per azione di diagnostica, sia per

verificare il corretto ed efficiente funzionamento dopo un intervento per

malfunzionamento.
